Krystal Parker is an American singer, songwriter, model, and inspiring actress from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She got started in music at the tender age of 4 years old. Upon witnessing her sing, Krystal's pre-k teacher (from Dalton Elementary) enrolled her in all the programs at school. She could not go a day without being musically inspired by the words of others'. When Krystal's mother discovered her voice she placed her in various talent shows and auditions. As a preteen Krystal started to write her own music. Later in life she moved to Atlanta with her dad to have a fresh start in her music career. She was able to network with a lot of talented producers and musicians. Life took her for a turn, but she fought through it and turned her life around. Krystal finally understood what everyone was saying to her about having such a beautiful gift from God, hearing about her gift since she was a little girl. She couldn't let that go to waste! That's when she was blessed to have won #1 place for Louisiana in a state-wide singing competition sponsored by McDonald's in 2014. This put her on the next level, a nation-wide competition to sing against other talented singers in the United States & other countries which was a great accomplishment! Out of thousands of people Mcdonalds picked her. McDonald's sponsored Krystal for one and a half years. She walked through the "Hall of Fame", sang and recorded in Elvis Presley’s studio, and flew around from state to state singing for award shows and functions that were presented by McDonalds. Krystal becoming international has been life changing. The singing competition was hosted by Emmy-award winning actor, improviser, singer and dancer Wayne Brady. Krystal worked with some of the best voice coaches, producers, and music directors such as: (music director) Mark Goff, (music director) Rich Daniels, (vocal coach) Ken Clifton, (vocal coach) Tamara Anderson, and (vocal coach) Typhanie Monique. She was one out of sixteen people globally who was able to have a five minute audition for Disney.! Krystal also sang for Dr.Pepper's booth performance at the 2014 Worldwide Convention. She was able to have consultation with David Foster, multi-platinum Grammy Award winning producer and composer, Skylar Grey, a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter and multi-Instrumentalist, & Ken Hertz, Prominent Entertainment Attorney and Brand Marketing Strategist. Krystal had a one on one group master class with multi-platinum recording artist Chris Daughtry where he gave her tips on the life/music industry, things that will stay with her for a lifetime. Krystal participated in a 2014 VoM U.S. Semi-Finalists McDonald’s commercial (Nothing's Gonna Stop Me). Krystal has been working hard ever since she returned home after being sponsored by McDonald's. Everyone started to call her the McDonald's girl. She worked as an intern as a directors assistant with Aaron Williams local movie "Elijah". Krystal began to work with a non-profit organization called the "Unity Project" in 2015 that fights against crime, substance abuse, and truancy in our neighborhoods. Krystal is now preparing to open her own non-profit (teaching young girls to be Princesses to Queens). In 2015 Krystal sang at the Baton Rouge NAACP conference, which was very honorable to her. She’s received radio play as a background singer in daily radio commercials. She’s worked with Henry Turner Jr. & The Flavors. Krystal also experienced "rubbing the log" on the Apollo stage in New York, something she wanted to do since her tender ages.! Krystal is currently working on her next single. Krystal is with the band BJ & company and also strives to be the best inspirational artist she can be. She’s made several guest appearances on radio shows and local television shows such as "For M.A.D"(For Making A Difference) on Fox44 to talk about her accomplishments, future plans, and a new song "King of Glory”. She’s been featured in Exposure Magazine as a new & upcoming singer. She has made guest appearances on Reality show "Little Women of Atlanta". Krystal has made two appearances of T.V. show "Claws" with Niecy Nash, and more. She also was on the movie "Girls Trip" w/ Queen Latifah, Tiffany Haddish & so much more... Krystal is currently in production as a comic character by Jetstreame in association with Global Touch Technology. She now is a main character in the Musical Play "King Of Uz" written by Bridgette Johnson from the song she sung "King of Glory". She also is working different genre of music to showcase her skills & talents as a artist. Krystal started a clothing line with her partner in June 2019 called "Bag (Bosses Achieving Greatness) Businezz". Krystal has much more to check off her list and is ready for the world!
